Description
In the immediate aftermath of the first real snowstorm in Boston this past winter, I was reluctantly on my way to work. I loved the way the cleared road contrasted the snow-covered trees and even some cars. I put a lot of effort into getting the small details on the cars, and it was one of my earliest attempts to paint the highway. Though the trees are more expressionist, a Massachusetts viewer can easily feel themself behind the wheel of their own car, driving the same road experiencing the same wonder.
