This piece depicts another spot on my way to work. Right at the edge of Cambridge, this intersection is a huge traffic jam in the evenings, but on a bright sunny morning it can be truly serene. Did I incrimiate myself by painting the lights red? The surface for this piece is a canvas pad. I had picked up a stack for a steal on craigslist, and had never used them before. It was an interesting pivot from pre-stretched canvas or panel, which I’ve grown accustomed to.
